[ Appreciation for art.
Sol Village ; SOB's.
October.19, 2011 ]
So, me and my sister attended thee CMJ festival with Bridget Kelly, Verse Simmonds, Lauriana Mae, and some others. It was nothing short of a great night. Bridget Kelly's voice is AMAZE!! Her music truly lives through her. She performed the majority of songs off of her FREE EP "Every Girl".( she had the crowd rocking ) Her performances are amazing and I truly appreciate her animation while performing. I almost had a moment, where I wanted to break down and cry. Seeing her performance, seeing how happy she was really inspired me to push for what I want in life...as far as my career path. It felt so amazing to be in a room full of "Industry People". Not to mention, Me being in a room with HOV! Not to many people get to say they've done that (:
Overall, BK is stunning and AMAZING! I'd pay to see her performances any-day!

Personally, from all the work J.Cole has done I really feel like sideline story is a CLASSIC Album. He channeled realistic feelings, placed them with the correct ballads..leading to hooks, verses and songs were created. Now, somehow, the other day at work the topic was Mr.Cole himself. It was said that he was mainstream now.. being that he has his deal. Of course, I disagreed. I think the passion is still the same, the dedication is thee same and having a deal somewhere down the line the label is going to expect you to make music that brings in revenue. At the end of the day, it's still a business world. Cole World has the perfect balance. There's songs that the fella's can relate too, there's the mainstream songs, and then there's the songs that the ladies can appreciate. It's definitely an album I can listen to ALL Day, Everyday without skipping a song. Classic Album all the way.
First major appearance on television. job well done.
number one album, still humbled, artist, producer, man. amazing.
I cried, watching these performances by the way. when you see the development and growth happen right in front of your eyes, (it seems as so) you understand why everything worked out, hard work and dedication pays off, just look at J.cole... from the warm up to COLE WORLD; The sideline story. Couldn't have been a happier fan. Cole World. . .Real Cole World.
"Sometimes you wanna scream to God, but he can’t hear you
And even if you did, this’ll probably be disaster
F-ck you ‘plainin’ ’bout? It ain’t like you got cancer
Do it for my niggas on the block that got it worse
First the love, then the hate, that just a trap nigga’s curse
I betcha feel like the whole world hatin’ on you
But what’s the holdup? The whole world waitin’ on you"
this song entitled fame, nothing short of jeezy capabilities. the gritty real rap he produces is all over this song.
He captures the real life, envy one may have against the guys that "made it". Amazing track and TI's feature gave it thee extra umph.
I love it!
take a listen . ..

Amazing Album And I'm Not Shocked. J.Cole Works Hard, His Production Is Sick, His Word Play Is LIFE And He Still Remains Humble Even With Jay-z Being His Boss. Billboard Announced Cole World Will Debut At The Number 1 Spot. Who Would've Thought? From The Warm Up, Friday Night Lights, To Any Given Sunday(s) I Knew Exactly The Potential He Has. Proud Fan I Am! *Cole World, Real Cole World....(:
